Zevotek, Inc. (ZVTK.OB) Signs Agreement for Retail Sales of Its Ionic Bulb

Zevotek, Inc. announced today that it has signed a deal with Leisure Time, Inc, a Union, New Jersey based company, to market and promote the sale of the Ionic Bulb to an premier list of retail chain stores. The Iconic Bulb is an energy saving compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL) for which Zevotek has a license to sell. This contract comes after a collaborative effort between Zevotek and Leisure Time in a presentation to CVS Pharmacy earlier this month to promote the product. The presentation went well and as a result, the two companies have since agreed to a one-year renewable exclusive agreement.

The list of retail chains that Leisure Time will be working with includes household names such as Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and BJ’s Wholesale Club. According to the distribution agreement, Leisure Time is responsible for securing retailer’s orders to purchase Ionic Bulbs from Zevotek for sale in those chain’s U.S. stores and through their retail websites.

In the press release, Chief Executive Officer of Zevotek, Rob Babkie, was quoted as saying, “Our agreement with Leisure Time is a major milestone in the Ionic Bulb sales strategy. Zevotek’s Ionic Bulb marketing launch nearly three months ago was aimed at getting Ionic Bulbs on retail store shelves across America. Today’s announcement shows we are right on target. Leisure Time is widely recognized by the major retailers they will call on to present Zevotek’s Ionic Bulb.”

Zevotek’s Iconic Bulb has been the subject of many recent press releases due to its appearances in publications and the launch of their informercial. A March 22nd press release announced that Ionic Bulb appeared in The Huffington Post and Marie Claire magazine’s April issue. On March 15th, it was released that the Iconic Bulb TV ad was the 3rd most frequently seen household product and the 20th most frequently seen direct response TV ad overall for the week ending March 5, 2010, as reported by Infomercial Marketing Service (IMS).
