Younger America announced this morning that it has signed a joint venture and marketing agreement with Interact Communications. Interact Communications is engaged in marketing devices fabricated to block electromagnetic radiation emitted from cell-phones. As part of the agreement, Younger America will market Interact’s Wave Shield through its e-commerce Web site.
Interact Communications’ Wave Shield is implemented by simply placing the device on the ear piece of any phone. Multiple studies have been conducted to link mobile phones with serious diseases such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s, along with others. One European study found that long-term users developed more acoustic neuroma brain tumors than those who do not use cell-phones.
Irwin Newman, Chairman and President of Younger America, stated, “We’re very excited to be working with Interact Communications, Inc. and welcome its Wave Shield to our product line. The Wave Shield provides peace of mind to consumers by easing their fears of radiation from cell phones. The mobile phone could turn out to be the cigarette of the twenty-first century in terms of the damage it could inflict.”
