Welwind Energy International Corp. (OTCBB: WWEI) announced that they have received final approval for their last two applications made to the military and the Guangdong Provincial Oceans and Fisheries Bureau. There are over fifteen applications in total that have been submitted and approved, which include the site location of the project, and the land use permit by the Guangdong Provincial Building Bureau.
The company has gained approval from all fifteen departments of the government by issuing documents on the date of May 27, 2008, and translated documents received by Welwind head office on June 6, 2008. This indicates that the company has met all the necessary requirements and standards set by the government.
In the meantime there are multiple applications that have been required by the company for approval for the Zhanjiang wind farm. The approval process calls for three separate submissions made for each application. All applications require submission to three separate governing bodies; the local government, the city, and the provincial government. An example includes an application for the land use permit that the company had to apply for to the Donghai government (local government), then to the Zhanjiang Oceans and Fisheries Bureau (city government), and finally to the Guangdong Oceans and Fisheries Bureau of the provincial government. Since the company has over fifteen applications to be made on three separate levels, today is a crucial step for Welwind in meeting each and every requirement.
Welwind is committed to providing the best resource option available for renewable energy, protecting the global environment, empowering communities, enhancing local economies, and respecting the rights of future generations. The company’s goal is to someday become the leader of providing clean energy products for the residential, business and governmental consumer.
