WebSafety, Inc. announced on Friday that their CellSafety product now supports 88 smartphones. Using a phone’s GPS system, CellSafety’s patent pending technology detects when a vehicle is moving at speeds above 10 mph and blocks all texting, emailing, and web browsing. This includes chat, IM, and Skype.
The CellSafety mobile phone application is compatible on 88 models of smartphones powered by the Android, Blackberry, and Symbian operating systems and on all of the major wireless carriers in the United States (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon) as well as the three wireless networks in Canada (Bell Mobility, Rogers, and Telus).
The CellSafety mobile phone application is the most widely available software solution to stop the dangerous and often deadly practice of texting-while-driving.
