NATCO International announced that WiCity(TM) was embraced by citizens of Niagra Falls. Over 100 users had already signed up by the first day the service was available. The technical advisor for WiCity stated, “We anticipate the usage will be significantly higher once the word gets out. Free Internet is pretty compelling.”
The Mayor commented, “This is just one more service – and a free service at that – that we’re offering the visitor as well as our residents. Technology and the sharing of information move incredibly fast and we must keep up. We’re glad to be working with Photo Violation Technologies to make this wireless service available in our downtown.”
Tourists can now use the free service to find out information about tourist attractions and tours or learn historical trivia anywhere they are. Shop owners will also love WiCity, since it will increase the amount of traffic flowing through their stores and restaurants.
