With the current trends towards a connected vehicle, USTelematics has developed a number of products targeting these trends including its line of Mobile PCs. The company recently showcased the Voyagers at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada and the products were well received. The Company intends to capture the burgeoning market for total vehicular connectivity and has partnered with Verizon to best meet this goal.
Its product line of Windows based personal computers are designed to deliver information and content to mobile customers within their vehicles. The products are built tough to meet the temperature and usage requirements of vehicular use and can be used from small cars all the way up to RV’s and Buses.
Wireless connectivity is enabled through Verizon’s EVDO service. They also come pre-configured with the company’s talking E-mail service – Vivee. Mobile TV services are also offered with hundreds of channels and Live Shows can be delivered to the device as well as premium pay-per view TV events. Voyagers also allow customers to set children controls for Web Browsing safety and TV content. Additional services and hardware include: GPS, Video Games, and Broadband Phones.
The Mobile PC’s come in 7,10, and 12 inch screens and offer the choice of WiFi. This enables the entire car to be enveloped in a mobile WiFi hotspot so any Laptop user can connect to the Internet. Additional accessories for the Voyager’s include: Antenna’s, Navigation GPS Accessories, Satellite Radio Accessories, and additional screens.
