VirTra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.OB) Receives 24-system Simulator Order from the Department of Homeland Security

VirTra Systems announced that it has received a 24-system order from the Department of Homeland Security. The 24-system simulator order included weapon training-conversion kits and other accessories, bringing the total order to nearly $1 million dollars. The IVR base simulators, marketed through VirTra Systems’ partner Ti Training Corp, have generated total sales of 45 full-featured, single-screen small arms training simulators since last October.

Major General Dalby, CEO of Virtra Systems, stated, “We are pleased that Ti Training’s sales have gained significant traction since last fall. The team at Ti Training certainly put together a major effort to win this tender from such a prestigious agency, and speaks volumes about the caliber and effort of Ti Training’s sales force.”

He continued to say, “In addition, with our IVR small arms training simulators now installed in every branch of our military, federal installations with the U.S. Marshals Service and the DHS, multiple international installations, and key law enforcement agency placements such as Kansas City and Charleston police departments, it is clear that immersive training is preferred and has been embraced by the industry. VirTra Systems is committed to continue leading the way developing immersive training simulation products.”

The management of the company is pleased that sales forecasts have been increased due to several unexpected domestic and international sales requests. The CEO concluded that he expects “a strong showing by year’s end.”
