Investors are responding to the “Core Value” at VIASPACE, Inc. (VSPC.OB), sending the shares up sharply today – Up 9.62% on very heavy volume of nearly 577k shares traded.
One “Core Value” here I feel relates to the business strategy that is anchored by the vast portfolio of VIASPACE Intellectual Property assets. The Company has embarked on a successful global patent protection strategy, as noted recently in its Fuel Cell Business. Patents have recently been awarded in both Japan and China.
While many Asian based Original Equipment Manufacturers have started in house Fuel Cell Research and Development programs, these new patents awarded to Caltech and VIASPACE will play a key role in the future of VIASPACE Inc.
