VIASPACE announced today that Mr. Gary Miller, Vice President for Business Development at the company’s Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corporation subsidiary, presented VIASPACE’s Manufacturing & Distribution Strategies at the Asia Battery/Fuel Cell Markets conference held in Singapore.
Other presenters and sponsors of the event include BASF Fuel Cell, Lenovo, Frost & Sullivan, Nissan Motor Co., and the Institute of Fuel Cell Technology.
According to a recent report put out by Frost & Sullivan, the market is projected to produce 72.0 million micro fuel cell shipments by 2010, and then increase 400% by 2013. The market research firm believes that micro fuel cell technology will significantly advance in the future because of the rising consumer demand for increased power, and longer run times for portable devices.
