Since it’s beginning, VIASPACE has been setting goals and overcoming obstacles in order to meet those goals.
In January of this year they received a prestigious NASA Space Act Award for their expert system software “SHINE”. SHINE can deliver over 100 times the inference speed over the best comparable commercial product.
Acquiring intellectual property is one of VIASPACE’s principle business strategies. In November they were granted a patent related to the use of Ionfinity’s proprietary soft-ionization membrane in an ion thruster engine for spacecraft control. In January the filed a patent that enables methanol fuel to be stored in a flexible pouch. They also filed two patent applications for an Automated Threat Detection System and for a miniature fuel cartridge valve.
This company is expected to go far as it continues to accomplish goals and set new standards in the industries they reach into.
