USTelematics, Inc. recently announced it has reached a distribution agreement with the commercial division of Car Toys, moving forward with its plan to commercialize its Voyager product lines. Car Toys, the 5th largest national mobile electronic retailer, is the No. 1 accessory retailer for leading auto dealers.
Voyager is a line of devices for receiving digital television in moving vehicles. Voyager offers 100s of channels of live and stored TV, music, movies and games. It also has a built-in CD/DVD player, and surrounds the vehicle in WiFi connection, allowing for online laptop connection as well. Per the agreement, Car Toys will present USTelematics’ popular Voyager product line through its commercial divisions in Washington, Oregon, Texas and Colorado.
“Car Toys is a true leader in mobile electronics and their enthusiasm and support of our Voyager product line gives us great market validation on a mass level,” Paul Wenig, national sales manager of USTelematics, said in the press release.
Founded in 1987, Car Toys experienced immediate success with its mobile electronic products. The store has since grown from its initial Bellevue, Washington location to employ more than 1,200 professionals in four different states.
“Launching with their commercial division is the first phase of our strategic partnership which will lead, at some point in the future, to product availability in their 49 store locations,” stated Wenig.
