US Natural Gas Corp. issued an operational update on the company’s oil and gas activities at the Pine Grove oil field in the Appalachian Basin.
US Natural Gas recently placed the Ward Watt No. 265 well on production after replacing tubing and a down hole pump at the well site. The well is producing from the Devonian Clear Creek formation at depths of approximately 1,200 feet.
US Natural Gas also placed the Romie Constant No. 247 well on production after replacing various pieces of above ground equipment, including electrical components and a tank battery separator. This well also produces from the Devonian Clear Creek formation at a depth of approximately 1,380 feet.
US Natural Gas is currently installing a water flowline to the Guy Wilson No. 293 injection well and expects this project to be complete shortly. This will allow the company to place seven additional wells at the Pine Grove oil field on production.
The Pine Grove oil field is located in Edmonson County, Kentucky, and was acquired by US Natural Gas Corp in March 2011. The field is approximately 600 acres in size and consists of 25 producing oil wells and associated equipment.
