Uranium Hunter Corporation (URHN.OB) Continues to Progress at its Ruhuhu Site in Tanzania

Uranium Hunter Corporation (URHN.OB), a natural resource company focused on the exploration and development of uranium and gold deposits in East Africa, continues to push forth effort at its Ruhuhu site in Tanzania.

Throughout the summer, Uranium Hunter has been working on the Ruhuhu site. In July, the company’s helicopter performed an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey of the area. The 1,000 line kilometer provided the company with information to make determinations on where uranium would be most likely be present. In August, the company began its advanced field program at ground targets that were determined from the helicopter survey data. Systematic sampling was conducted at each ground target, followed by pitting and trenching at areas that indicated promising results.

By the end of August, Uranium Hunter found that its Target 4 area had readings up to 870 cps over a 25 m interval at the northeast section of the zone. Trenching and pitting of the area commenced, along with systematic sampling of the area. On Monday, the company announced that it had recorded the highest single Geiger-counter reading of 1253 cps at the Target 4 site.

“While recognizing that we are still in the early phases of our field program, containing our excitement is proving to be difficult. The feeling is that we are on the verge of something big at Ruhuhu, and we, as with many of our shareholders surely, are anxiously awaiting further results,” said Ghaith Qamheiah, President of Uranium Hunter.

With such promising initial results at one target zone, Uranium Hunter continues to focus its efforts on the development of other ground targets at the Ruhuhu site. The company is possibly on the brink of a huge find.

Qamheiah concluded, “With the recent strengthening of the price of uranium, and the progress of our projects, we feel the future is bright for Uranium Hunter shareholders.”
