Universal Detection Technology (UDTT.OB), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and other threats, announced that the company has been invited to present their technology utilized in their Anthrax Detection System at the U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center [ECBC].
ECBC is the nation’s principal research and development center for non-medical chemical and biological defense. Currently, the ECBC is focused on developing technologies that are able to detect, protect, and decontaminate any number of threats. ECBC seeks to provide support over the entire product lifecycle, from basic research through technology development, engineering design, equipment evaluation, product support, sustainment, field operations and disposal.
Jacques Tizabi, CEO, specified, “We are very excited to present our technology to the ECBC Critical Reagents Program. We hope that through the analysis of our technology the ECBC recognizes the advantages in cost and detection that our BSM-2000 technology offers compared to other detection systems currently deployed.”
