Universal Detection Technology (UDTT.OB) Has Collaborative Partnership with Top Research Institutes

The company entered into a joint agreement in 2002 with NASA’s JPL, a federally funded R&D facility managed by California Institute of Technology. They also have an agreement with Security Solutions International, a counter-terrorism training company. These partnerships give them access to advance technology and channels with which to market their products.

JPL is one of the most respected research centers in the World; they develop projects for NASA and NON-NASA customers. Universal Detection Technology leverages this relationship to generate new technologies as well as quickly commercialize its biological threat detection device. They are currently working with JPL to employ JPL’s Spore detection technology in their counter terrorism device.

A partnership with Security Solution International allows the company to teach counter-terrorist seminars with them. Security Solutions International is based out of Miami. They provide counter-terrorist training to qualified schools and security companies. It is a strategic partnership for Universal Detection technology because SSI, through the partnership contract, has agreed to use best efforts to market the company’s BSM-2000 Bio-Terrorism detection device.

These Strategic Partnerships provide the company with many competitive advantages. Through NASA, they have access to innovative technology and the some of the best research scientists in the world. Its partnership with Security Solutions International gives them total access to qualified customers. Its partnerships clearly provide a 1+1=3 advantage to them. This gives them a significant competitive advantage within the Bio-Terrorism Prevention market.
