Hybrid Technologies’ lithium ion taxi project was mentioned as part of the President’s comments on advanced technology corporations earlier this year. In his comments he stated, “Imagine what these technologies will mean for somebody living in New York… Hybrid electric taxi cabs will be running on new generation lithium ion batteries. The financial pages will be filled with new stock symbols for dynamic American companies in the growing field of alternative fuels.”
The company is honored to have their name stated in the President’s State of the Economy speech. The New York City Taxi and the Paratransit Taxi have received an overwhelming amount of attention from the media, and are delighted to have political attention as well.
