Tivus, Inc., a provider of high-definition Internet-protocol television (HD IPTV) technology to the hotel and hospitality industry, announced before the opening bell today that it has appointed Mr. Phil Marriott as executive vice-president of international and domestic sales.
“We are delighted to have Phil join our executive management team,” commented Shiva Prakash, Tivus’ chief executive officer. “Phil will add an enormous amount of breadth and depth to our management team in the areas of international sales and marketing, finance and accounting, and the incubation of new companies. Moreover, his older brother, Doug Marriott, already serves on our Industry Advisory Board, and has advised the Company since 2009.”
Mr. Marriott’s prior experience includes positions with such companies as Coldwell Banker, Arthur Anderson, Automatic Data Processing (ADP), Phil Marriott Company (financial consultant for high net-worth clients and carried series 7 securities and insurance licenses), and Priore Asset Management Co, LTD, Tokyo, Japan (financial consultant to Japanese companies).
With a strong and demonstrated track-record of success in corporate development, Phil has been instrumental in the incubation and growth of Marriott Insurance Group LLC (allied with AFLAC Insurance Company), Marriott Marketing LLC (allied with Smart Fund Medical Billing Company), MACH IV Company LLC (clients: Sprint Cellular Phones and Services, Clear 4G Network, Dish Network and Direct TV), Rapid Knee Rehab LLC, and Marriott Business Group LLC.
