Thorium Power, Ltd (THPW.OB) Appoints Dr. Hans Blix as Senior Advisor

Thorium Power Ltd (THPW.OB), a leading developer of non-proliferative nuclear fuel technology, announced that the company has elected Dr. Hans Blix to serve as Thorium Power’s Senior Advisor.

Dr. Blix is to work closely with the company’s team of nuclear energy deployment and technology experts, focused on the company’s international relations presence. Dr. Blix will provide any number of advisory services for nations interested in developing a civilian nuclear industry. Currently, Thorim nuclear experts include Lars Hogberg, the former Director General of the Swedish Nuclear Power Inspectorate, and Tom Murley, the former Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of the United States.

At the present time, Dr. Blix serves as the Chairman of the Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission. Previously, Dr. Blix was the former Director General of the IAEA (1981 – 1997), Chief of the United Nations Monitoring, Verification, and Inspection Commission for Iraq (2000 – 2003), and Foreign Minister of Sweden (1978 – 1979).
