Hybrid Technologies, Inc. (HYBT.OB), an emerging leader in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products worldwide, is once again the buzz of the New York International Auto Show with the highly publicized and breakthrough vehicle, the NYC all-lithium Taxi.
The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission unanimously approved Hybrid Technologies’ all lithium taxi in 2006. The pilot project has been highly publicized and was part of President George Bush’s state of the economy speech in January of this year.
Hybrid’s lithium powered Taxi is fully functional and is working via a relationship with a well know eco-fleet owner. With the blessing of the TLC the taxi is expected to produce significant real world data as well as potentially creating a significant market for all electric taxis throughout the City of New York.
