Telanetix Inc (TNXI.OB), a leading IP provider, announced that the company has signed a two year network services agreement with Contactual, a global provider of on-demand contact center solutions. According to this agreement, Telanetix will provide business phone connectivity for Contactual’s various contact centers and also provide connectivity for the company’s intrinsic corporate use.
Because Telanetix offers their Business T1 service at a discount of 30 to 40 percent from that of traditional phone companies, this service was best suited for the corporate goals of Contactual. Even though this service is offered at a discounted rate, the service includes local, long distance and international calling, as well as enhanced features such as fax mailboxes, unified messaging, and follow me services, just as other phone company’s offer at a higher rate.
Mansour Salame, CEO of Contactual, stated, “Contactual uses innovative software solutions, rather than expensive customized hardware to deliver on-demand contact center service to our customer. Working with Telanetix’s AccessLine division will enable us to supply customers with an underlying, nationwide telephony network for their call center traffic and to extend the reach of our industry-changing technology.”
