Teknik Digital Arts, Inc. (TKNK.OB) develops physically interactive video games and software systems for use on personal computers and video game consoles. The objective is to use modern electronic gaming technology to enhance and promote physical activity while playing the game. The company is dedicated to battling the growing obesity problem in children. John Ward, chief executive officer, chairman and founder

John Ward has almost three decades experience in several industries including data storage, software, entertainment and wellness. Each position provided additional experience that he currently draws upon to run Teknik Digital Arts. His data storage career included being the founder and CEO of a data storage company that was named as Investor’s Business Daily’s number one performing computer stock. He has volunteered to finance and support children’s sports leagues for over twenty years, clearly displaying his passion for children’s fitness.

Ray Artique, senior vice president of marketing

Ray J. Artigue is a graduate of Arizona State University’s school of Journalism and Mass Communication. He served for 15 years as senior vice president of marketing for the Phoenix Suns basketball team, in charge of all aspects of sales and marketing. Currently, Mr. Artigue is the executive director of the Arizona State University Sports Business MBA Program. Mr. Artigue serves various civic and community organizations and boards. Teknik Digital Arts will clearly benefit from his expertise in sales and marketing.

To assist in product development, Teknik Digital Arts uses two highly renowned medical professionals as consultants.

Dr. Charles B. Corbin is internationally recognized as an expert in physical activity, health and wellness promotion, and youth physical fitness. Dr. Corbin has been a university professor for more than 20 years, and is currently a member of the faculty of the department of Exercise and Wellness at Arizona State University-East. Dr. Corbin is the acknowledged father of the conceptual physical education movement he pioneered at both the secondary school and college levels. Dr. Corbin has produced a number of educational videos, two of which have earned the Telly Award for Excellence. Dr. Corbin was the first author of national physical activity standards for children, published by U.S. governmental agencies. Dr Corbin has authored more than 200 research and professional papers.

Dr. Craig M. Phelps is a primary care sports medicine physician and board certified in family medicine. He has practiced medicine for over twenty years in the Phoenix area. He is currently the team physician to several college and professional sports teams including the Phoenix Suns, WNBA Phoenix Mercury, and student athletes attending Grand Canyon University, Scottsdale Community College, Paradise Valley Community College and Gateway Community College. The company uses his vast experience in sports medicine to develop its products.
