Technology from Compress Technologies, Inc. (CTLG.PK) Targets Performance Enhancements for the Cable Television Industry

Compress Technologies, Inc. (OTC CTLG.PK), reported that it would begin phase II of its Cable Television Bandwidth Enhancement Project, that ultimately has the potential to save cable operators hundreds of millions of dollars.

Inventor Harold Walker believes the advancements and modifications developed for CTLG’s FM-SCA technology can be integrated into the Cable Television bandwidth enhancement technology resulting in significantly “improved performance.”
Phase I prototype unit was tested by an independent test facility, Eagle Comtronics, Inc. of Liverpool, N.Y. which stated the technology “shows great promise as a data transport mechanism … ”

The cable television industry needs a technology solution to avoid expensive replacement of existing co- axial cables. Replacement of co-axial cables with fiber optics in many cable television networks is technically or cost prohibitive.
