ECOtality, Inc. (ETLY.OB) Announces Completion of Minit Charger Acquisition

ECOtality announced this morning that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Minit Chager, a subsidiary of Edison International, a NYSE-listed company. The Minit-Charger is a rapid battery charging system that provides a more environmentally-friendly, energy and cost efficient means of recharging forklifts and other mobile material handling equipment. As of last Friday, the company will operate as part of ECOtality’s subsidiary, Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation (eTec). Ecotality shares continued to uptrend today. The upward move began last week after the company announced its potential fourth acquisition for the year.
