Cleantech Transit Inc. (CLNO) Biomass Gasification Facility Successfully Passes Interconnection Tests

On Friday, Cleantech Transit Inc. announced that the previously announced 500 KW biomass gasification facility located in Merced, California successfully passed their interconnection tests. The facility is now connected to the utility distribution grid. The gasification technology uses a non-combustion process to convert Ag and other woody residues into a hydrogen rich gas (syngas). This syngas then undergoes conversion into electricity, along with heat and biochar. Biochar is a useful byproduct; it captures carbon in solid form and is useable as a soil amendment.
