SymPowerco Corporation (SYMW.PK), an independent alternative energy and energy technology company focused on the development of practical, long-term, sustainable energy and power delivery solutions, recently announced the progress of its fuel cell program. The company’s chief executive officer, John Davenport, discussed several initiatives to advance SymPowerco’s unique Flowing Electrolyte Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (FE DMFC) program.
SymPowerco plans to enter the alternative energy sector by aggressively marketing its FE DMFC technology. The company’s FE DMFC technology offers several advantages over the conventional PEM-based DMFC and the hydrogen PEM-based fuel cell and provides a shorter path to commercialization.
In order to advance the FE DMFC program on multiple fronts, the company is exploring various funding opportunities and joint venture relationships. SymPowerco is also in the process of negotiating and establishing the scientific, developmental and marketing relationships to advance the mass commercialization of its alternative energy technologies.
