Sunwin International Neutraceuticals, Inc., a leading producer of all natural, zero calorie stevia, announced this morning that the company was recently given a purchase order from Beijing Tongrentang Technologies Co., Ltd. (“Tongrentang”), the world’s largest producer of traditional Chinese medicine, to develop a new dietary supplement product for diabetic patients.
Stevia is a zero-calorie all natural sweetener alternative to chemical-based sweeteners commonly found in diet or low calorie products. Sunwin’s stevia production has been used around the world for decades. As of today, the company’s proprietary brand can be found in approximately 4,000 U.S. retail stores.
Sunwin’s Chairman Laiwang Zhang commented, “We are extremely excited about this purchase order from Tongrentang for the development of this new dietary supplement. When completed this represents another large market opportunity for the use of our stevia applications. Moreover, our relationship with Tongrentang demonstrates the quality of our stevia product for use by multinational companies.”
