Sub-Surface Waste Management’s subsidiary, Environmental Tec International, S.A. de C.V. (ETI), has signed an agreement to contract services for two environmental cleanup projects in Puebla, Mexico. There was also a meeting with the Governor and BUAP staff to schedule work in Puebla and discuss the dates to start two additional projects that were previously approved this year by the State legislature.
The two projects are valued at $2 Million and were contracted through BUAP with ETI acting as the subcontractor. The projects include evaluating the environmental impact on Human Health, and the environmental impact caused by hydrocarbon spills of Crude Oil.
The Puebla projects were contracted directly with the State of Puebla. They include consulting and training for processing contaminated waste from the industries in Puebla, and the evaluation of the environmental impact and repercussions on Human Health and domestic animals.
Bruce Beatttie, the CEO of SSWM stated that he is excited about the new relationship with BUAP and the potential that it brings to help clean the environment for the people of Puebla as well as establishing a program for the state which could help encourage other states to follow.
