StrikeForce Announces Plans To Distribute A Website-Specific Version of GuardedID Keystroke Encryption Software For Banks And ISP’s To Address An Estimated $8.3 Billion A Year Industry

Javelin Research Study Reveals 102 Million Americans Would Be Willing To Download Identity Protection Software To Protect Online Banking Information

StrikeForce Technologies (OTCBB:SKFT), a company that specializes in the prevention of identity theft, today announced plans to distribute a website-specific version of its popular GuardedID keystroke encryption and anti-keylogging software. This new version is designed specifically for Banks and ISP’s to address the growing need to keep consumers online Identities protected.

According to a recent survey conducted by Javelin Strategy and Research “Sixty-seven percent, or 150 million, U.S. consumers don’t bank online today,” said Stephen Knighten, Javelin Strategy & Research statistical analyst. “Our study results show that offering consumers strong online measures creates highly significant implications for the banks. We estimate that the industry could realize a gain of $8.3 billion per year through customer adoption and increased loyalty by offering strong identity protection software to their customers.”

When consumers were asked if they would download identity protection software from their financial institution, 62%, or 102 million, consumers said that they would be likely to do so. Consumers’ willingness to download security software to protect financial information was further confirmed when 69% of respondents, or 113 million consumers, reported having downloaded some form of security software in the last six months.

“I’m extremely pleased to announce our website-specific version of GuardedID for banks and ISP’s”, says Mark L. Kay, CEO of StrikeForce, “it’s timely and much needed”. The Internet plays such a crucial part in our lives today, we use for email, to lookup information, to place orders, to social network, we use it for practically everything, but than again so do the cyber criminals. They use the Internet to spread their viruses and keylogging trojans to everyone’s computers, advantage of the fact that anti-virus software stops only about 20% of their spyware.

Therefore the need for keystroke encryption has never been greater. It’s no secret that encryption is the best form of security, that’s why our Government has been using it for years. StrikeForce has designed a keystroke encryption technology that your bank or ISP can now offer you that will start encrypting your keystrokes the instant you navigate to your bank or ISP; we have a saying at StrikeForce that Identity Theft prevention starts at your fingertips.

GuardedID’s revolutionary instant encryption technology process with CryptoColor, secures a PC user’s typed keystrokes in a visible color of their choice. CryptoColor is a visual verification technology that helps solve the huge global problem of identity theft.

“When the Web browser screen is green (the default CryptoColor), the PC users’ keystrokes can’t be seen,” said Mark Kay. “Already we have some of the world’s largest banks piloting the new CryptoColor version of GuardedID and we estimate that when the trials are complete millions of customers will be under our technology’s protection against cyber crooks,” he added.

In the U.S. alone, an estimated 53 million identities have been stolen to date and an average of 19,000 more are stolen every day, making identity fraud by far the fastest growing crime in America, according to CIO Magazine (May 2006). Recent news stories have told of PC users losing their entire 401k’s and bank accounts and suddenly getting calls from bill collectors for items they never bought online themselves – all as a result of having their identities stolen while entering online transactions.
