Tootie Pie showcased its pies in Houston at The Sysco “Fancy Food Show” yesterday.
This was a big, big day for Tootie Pie. Just checked with Don Merrill, Tootie Pie CEO and he confirmed good results for Tootie Pie in Houston! Tootie Pie goes all out. They decorate their table nicely and deliver their delicious pies in style!
All reports are as expected: big orders and big names for the Big Selling Season!
Tootie Pies are now carried by Sysco in Houston, as well as their San Antonio and Austin, Texas markets.
Tootie Pie is ready for the big selling season.
Fall is the beginning of the big season and it’s just around the corner.
Tootie Pie is ready. Their pies have passed the ‘trans-fat taste test.’ Tootie’s crusts continued to be as flaky and tasty as ever with the new trans-fat recipe. The Fancy Food Show gives Tootie the opportunity to demonstrate their pies to potential buyers in one event! This is obviously the beauty of contracting with a food wholesaler.
This will be Tootie Pie’s first big selling season with their current line up of food wholesalers and they are ready! They have their new trans fat recipe perfected and it is time to call in the food wholesalers and Let Them Eat Pie! (See list below.)
I think Sysco is a great partner for Tootie Pie. Obviously, the better the wholesaler does the better Tootie Pie does and Sysco is on a roll. Remember the cool agreement with Thermafreeze? This means Tootie Pie can ship their pies farther — virtually as far as their wholesalers travel! And Sysco is in an expansion mode — so much the better for Tootie Pie.
St. Petersburg wants a Sysco there so badly they gave a $5-million incentive package to lure Sysco Food Services to the city. The company plans to build a 393,000-square-foot distribution center on 62 acres.
Sysco Corp., helped by an 8.5% increase in sales, reported better-than-expected earnings for the fiscal fourth quarter. The company is targeting long-term nominal annual sales growth of 7% to 9%, excluding the impact of major acquisitions. Sysco is planning to expand into international markets but North America is predicted to continue to be the biggest driver of Sysco’s growth. Sysco shares climbed 13 percent during the past 52 weeks.
The Fancy Food Show in Houston, Texas, represents a huge market opportunity for Tootie Pie, and while it might be ninety degrees outside, the food industry is thinking autumn and Let Them Eat Pie.
