StockGuru Blog: Quality Projects Continue to Multiply for Essential Innovations Technology (ESIV)

Ground-source heat pumps represent one of the fastest-growing renewable energy technologies. GSHP installations have steadily increased over the last 10 years with current annual growth rate of approximately 20%.

Notably, ground-source heat pumps have become associated with quality or luxury homes that will increase their value over time.

Last year Essential Innovations Technology completed sizeable geothermal loop-field installations at the Black Rock Resort project, in Ucluelet, BC, the Quest University project in Squamish, BC, and of particular importance, at the Wakefield Beach luxury town home project in Sechelt, BC.

More recently, Essential Innovations Technology has provided a turnkey geoexchange system customized for the beautiful homes of DiamondView Estates in Westbank, British Columbia.

Quality projects continue to proliferate for Essential Innovations Technology Corporation. President/CEO Jason McDiarmid stated in a 2008 letter: “We are happy to report that we are currently in promising discussions and negotiations with certain parties seeking product exclusivity for specific regions of Canada and the USA, whilst we also are engaged in on-going negotiations to allow us to establish manufacturing capabilities in overseas markets in the next 18 – 24 month period.”

What’s significant about these projects is that they are “dream homes.” These quality homes are prototypes that other home builders will seek to emulate. Each of these homes by virtue of the EI Elemental System will benefit the environment. Installing an EI Elemental system is equivalent to planting 750 trees or taking 2 cars off the road.

Not only do these homes embrace the green future, they will also substantially increase in value specifically because of its state-of-the-art EI Elemental system.

A study by the Oakridge National laboratory published in 1981 found that earth-coupled GeoExchange systems can increase property and resale values. For every dollar of utility bill saving per year per home, there was an increase in market value of $20. These figures were based on actual selling prices of 1317 homes.

The EPA estimates that a $35/month ($420/year) savings would add about $8,400 to the market value of a home. These values would increase proportionally at today’s prices.
