OCT Dental Imaging captures images of both the teeth and the gums! It emits no radiation with a light source that is safe, non invasive and very high intensity and you are able to see the OCT Dental Imaging System in action.
You can see the images which are formed by capturing and analyzing the back scatter of the light reflected from the dental tissue.
Watch as the dentist sweeps the hand held scanner over the teeth and gums capturing the images which are shown on a chair side monitor.
OCT Dental Imaging detects early demineralization or predecay and is able to image the gum tissue to measure the depth of unhealthy periodontal pockets and detect early periodontal disease! And Lantis Laser makes it look so easy!
