GTEC Stock Guru Profile

This morning I gave my thought on the official China policy for their population to leave the countryside and GO URBAN — and the impact that is having on GTEC and Gold Horse.

Since Genesis Technology Group, Inc. just announced its equity ownership in Gold Horse International, Inc., which completed a merger in late June with Speedhaul Holdings, Inc., and attained public company status on the OTC Bulletin Board, it appears it is all coming together.

They are making it happen and as a result, management made a formal announcement that Genesis will show a profit for its fiscal year ended September 30, 2007.

Gold Horse has a captive audience. And Gold Horse is building what these new urban citizens need: housing, shopping, hotels.

Gold Horse is ready for the rural population as they migrate to the cities. There they register as urban residents with all the perks that this theoretically entails: unemployment benefits and pensions as well as subsidized health care, education and housing. As they find jobs, they are renting and buying housing as they become the new middle class.

This migration is all managed by a rural-labor specialist at a government think-tank in Beijing. They are attempting to manage and prepare for this migration.

According to the State of World Population Report 2007, recently released by the UNFPA, China’s urban population is projected to increase from 560 million in 2005 to 910 million by 2030. The Urban share of the population is expected to grow from 42 to 64 percent.

In 1980, less than 20 percent of the population lived in cities. This represents a massive transformation and growth in the urban areas.

Bernard Coquelin, the UNFPA representative in China, said the government should take steps now to prepare for the needs of future city dwellers and ensure urbanization fulfills its promise of easing poverty and preserving the environment.

Currently, Genesis owns 8.5 million shares in Gold Horse International. Gold Horse was the second partner company in the trailing nine months to complete the private-to-public program. “Gold Horse’s success should place Genesis in a profitable position for the fiscal year,” predicted management. Genesis maintains an active role in Gold Horse’s management and business activities, including the assignment of Western directors to assist the company in executing its expanded business model.

For over 18 months, Genesis had worked with Gold Horse to attain OTC Bulletin Board status. Kabani & Company of Los Angeles completed the U.S. audit. Both Genesis and Gold Horse have been encouraged by the performance of another publicly listed company, China Housing and Land Development, Inc., which has a current market cap exceeding $100 million.
