StockGuru Blog: Franklin Mining (OTC: FMNJ) Getting It Right On All Fronts: Bolivia And Argentina!

OTC: FMNJ Franklin Mining, Inc.Stock Guru ProfileFranklin announced its gas to liquid plant in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, about three weeks ago. In this announcement Franklin noted that during the next thirty months would be devoted to the planning and construction phases. The development and construction of the gas to liquid plant will create 400 direct and 2300 indirect jobs. The operating the plant is anticipated to create 140 direct and 500 indirect permanent jobs.

In this announcement Franklin also announced that William Petty had traveled to Zurich, Switzerland to secure necessary financing.

We know Franklin has a whopper of a cash flow plan with the Pulacayo Tailings project.

We know gas to liquid is the hottest thing in the petroleum industry right now with Royal Dutch Shell Plc’s recent cornerstone ceremony at the site of their Pearl gas to liquid facility in Qatar. We know Franklin’s agreement with Argentina is similar to the agreement Royal Dutch Shell has in Qatar and this facility will be the first of its size in South America.

We know Argentina’s Tierra del Fuego Province has an abundance of natural gas.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy Argentina’s reserves of natural gas have more than doubled over the past 20 years and the DOE notes most experts agree that natural gas, which is significantly less polluting than oil or coal, will fuel a significant portion of Argentine energy demand growth in the future.

We know gas to liquid is a low CO2 emission fuel and is highly prized. We know this is a perfect fit for Argentina and an excellent choice of fuel because Argentina is South America’s third largest energy consumer as well as the continent’s second largest emitter of carbon dioxide.

Franklin Oil & Gas, Argentina, S.A, has an agreement for the construction and operation of a 10,000 barrel-per-day GTL processing facility signed by Hugo Cocarro, Governor of Tierra del Fuego. This agreement is accompanied by a 25 year guarantee of the required natural gas resource issued to Franklin Oil & Gas, Argentina S.A. It was signed on November 16, 2006 by Cristian A. Folgar, Argentina’s National Undersecretary of Fuels.

In summary the U.S. Department of Energy has stated Argentina’s abundance of natural gas will play a huge role in the development of a country and that is where Franklin Mining enters the picture.

Ask yourself what happens when the financing is in place here.

Franklin has THE contract and THE plan. Shell has a gas to liquid operation in Qatar and Franklin has the same contractual relationship with Argentina … with one big difference according to the Department of Energy: this fuel is vital for Argentina’s growth!

Argentina is HIGHLY motivated and so is Franklin!

To Stock Guru, Franklin looks like its on fire!
