StockGuru Blog: Euoko Group (EUOK) – Five Degrees of Skin Care

Euoko Group Inc. is an emerging luxury brand that develops, markets and distributes scientifically-advanced skin treatments. Euoko’s current portfolio consists of 24 products spanning five treatment collections that target aging, dull skin tones, skin protection, uneven pigmentation and blemishes. This product line offers comprehensive solutions to such skin concerns as wrinkles, fine lines, under-eye dark circles, dark spots, acne, oxidation, environmental exposure and skin fatigue. Combined with innovative products for basic daily cleansing and facial priming, Euoko offers a complete line of synergistic formulations that target the most demanding luxury consumer and meet the booming desire to halt and prevent the onslaught of ageing with a more affordable alternative. Euoko’s well-appointed, understated primary and secondary packaging communicates innovation, science and modern sophistication, while reflecting the prestige positioning of the portfolio. Euoko sells its product line through premium distribution channels in more than ten countries and territories. Retail partners of the brand include such premium department stores as Bergdorf Goodman in New York City (USA), Printemps in Paris (France) and La Rinascente in Milan (Italy). Euoko’s products are also sold globally through the company’s internally-operated, multicurrency, multilingual website (www.euoko.com).

World Ingredients

Each product of Euoko’s premier portfolio consists of the highest concentrations of the most unique and effective active ingredients sourced from across the world. The ingredients were pulled together from a three-year project research and development effort by the Company’s founder and CEO, Brandon Truaxe, along with Dr. Adel Rammal, Director of Scientific Affairs who has worked with Christian Dior. Previewing such as antioxidants from Amazonian and Himalayan berries to the Clinical Kalahari Desert Melon and age-correcting Peptides from Spain, the Euoko team gathered and developed 120 of the world’s most exotic and effective natural plant ingredients into the Company’s prestige portfolio of sterling synergistic skin care products.

“Euoko’s dedication to using the highest concentrations of a wide array of active components demands a performing delivery system that can take maximum advantage of the scientifically-demonstrated benefits this unique active portfolio offers,” said CEO Truaxe. “This advance supports our continual commitment to developing innovative, effective treatments that exceed the expectations of the most demanding clientele and we are pleased to incorporate this base into all existing and new formulations.

Media Coverage Paris Opening

In April Euoko received primary coverage from the popular haute style W Magazine, portraying the Euoko product portfolio before an audience of 1.4 million in decidedly upper income niches. The article addressed CEO Truaxe as “The Mix Master, armed with exotic potions and an iron will,” and pointed to the substantial attraction the product line has built in renowned world department stores.

The W article quoted Patricia Saxby, vice president and divisional merchandise manager for cosmetics and fragrance at New York’s Bergdorf Goodman, on the Euoko product line, “It looks very fresh and modern, but it’s a very serious line, with serious ingredients and serious results. I’ve never had people call me so quickly to tell me that after a couple of days they saw changes. And it was very refreshing to have somebody like Brandon, who really didn’t grow up in the industry but who had such a passion for it that he just went out and built his dream brand.”

Extending its significant world media coverage was Euoko’s brand selection as one of the top 3 “facial fixes” of the year in the Annual Design Awards of the stylish UK-published Wallpaper magazine. Earlier this year, the Company announced that its Paris preview launch event that began on February 18, 2008 at the world-renowned Printemps Haussmann department store had been well received with the results exceeding the company’s expectations.

Euoko’s large booth, designed impressively in minimalist and understated style and located in the central area of Printemps, received significant positive response from industry and customers. The preview during the first three weeks of the event resulted in unaudited, single-store retail sales of over 42,000 Euros (approximately 65,000 US funds), exceeding the company’s expectations.

Created using a mixture of marine compounds, fruit extracts and biotechnologically obtained molecules the product range is tapping into a booming desire from consumers to halt and prevent the onslaught of ageing with a more affordable alternative that can be used at home.

Five Degrees of Skin Care

Euoko’s product line was developed to meet the five areas of contemporary skin care needs. The W-SERIES comprises a superb skin lightening collection that target such skin maladies as freckles, age spots and sun spots. Using outstanding clinically-tested and safe ingredients the products in the W-SERIES have light textures that are instantly absorbed due to Euoko’s exclusive delivery systems containing the most unique and highest quality hyaluronic acid and a marine micro-alga that enhances penetration into the skin, providing elegant textures and excellent absorption capacities that make the products in this collection effective, suitable and safe for all skin types and tones. Focusing on blemish prone skin, the A-SERIES avoids oxidizing agents such as Oxygen Peroxide or industrial anti microbial agents, and relies on the anti-bacterial super-power of multiple sesame and marine-based sebum regulating agents, as well as antibacterial oligo-peptides derived from nature, that have shown to deliver blemish-free skin with unprecedented efficacy.

The R-SERIES for skin radiance utilizes multiple European peptides, extracts from a wide array of marine species, exotic fruits, African plants among an array of specialized ingredients to restore a bright, energetic glow to the skin’s appearance battling dull skin tones common to today’s stressful, busy lifestyles. Skin tone is awarded with extraordinary nourishment and cellular renewal in this energizing collection. The P-SERIES stands for protection uses the finest peptides, marine and plant derivatives, such as from a purified Kalahari Watermelon to restore balanced renewal, replenish lost nutrients and create a perfectly clean, moist environment to help the skin regain a youthful tone and buoyancy. Addressed as “the youth rocket,” the Y-SERIES targets every aspect of ageing with confident active ingredients specifically targeted at dramatically reducing the size and number of lines and wrinkles and drastically harnessing the oxidative properties of skin metabolism and aggressive elements of nature. Superior peptides and focused derivatives, including a topical, painless facial muscle contraction inhibitor peptide that mimics the activity of the venom of the temple viper, reflect only a brief sampling of the wide range of clinically-researched actives used in this collection.

Shoring up European Distribution

On April 15, 2008, Euoko announced two distribution compacts reached with Atout Cosmetics covering Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium, and Grupo Ritzy (Exclusive de Beaute & Niche Brands) as its exclusive distributor for Spain, Portugal and Andorra. The agreements offered three years of exclusivity to each company with allowances for annual price adjustments. Founded in 2003, Atout Cosmetics is a leading distributor of niche brands of skin care. The company’s portfolio includes Anthony Logistics and Joey New York. Grupo Ritzy, which began its distribution in 1996, is a leading distributor of exclusive skin care and fragrance brands in Spain. The company’s portfolio includes Erno Laszlo, Menard and Les Parfums de Rosine. Euoko’s CEO Truaxe announced the agreements as significant steps that would formalize market development for the Euoko product line with well-practiced teams throughout the European Union.

Future Operations

Over the twelve-month period ending January 31, 2009, Euoko plans to explore ways of expanding the Company through greater marketing, sales and distribution arrangements. The Company also plans to continue its current research and development work on ten new products, hoping to have completed products ready to introduce to the market by end of 2008.
