N-formation leverages NEC’s INASET(R) enterprise terminal to provide users with on-demand information and entertainment content through the terminal’s digital display. N-formation can be customized to send relevant content to guests in a variety of different environments, including hotels, airports, banks, sports arenas and corporate offices.
Customized content like weather reports, sports scores, traffic updates, entertainment news and stock prices can be digitally transmitted directly to the user’s INASET terminal display. NEC’s INASET terminal consolidates various applications, services, and voice communications into one intuitive user interface. Among the business applications created by NEC for the INASET are: OpenWorX(R) directory functionality, call log history for both incoming and outgoing calls, location status and message reader.
Consumers receive real-time news and information through the devices they use most often NEC Unified Solutions works with Data Call Technologies to offer N-formation as a resource for providing NEC displays with content for multiple environments. A guest in a hotel can easily use the NEC phone equipped with N-formation to find out latest financial market information, sports scores, traffic, localized weather forecast including Doppler Radar, as well as the latest US and international news.
N-formation can also be used to facilitate employee communications in corporate settings. For example, front desk staff at a hotel can use N-formation to send bulletins that keep employees up-to-speed on activities, events or emergencies within the hotel.
