I am glad to bring you this incredibly diverse and well managed company.
I hope you had a good chance to look at CAAH management. This is an amazing team but they would have to be. This company clearly understands business.
Think of China Holdings as a three legged stool with three very diverse holdings.
Shanghai Aohong Industry Co., Ltd. is a distributor of assorted liquid coolants utilized in a variety of applications, primarily as refrigerants in air conditioning systems for automobiles, residential and commercial air conditioning systems, and a manufacturer of steel non-refillable cylinders.
Big Tree Toys, Inc., which is an authorized agent for toy manufacturers in China, represents in excess of 100,000 varieties of toy products such as remote control toys, digital toys, sports toys, play sets, educational toys, dolls, and infant toys.
Sense Technologies, Inc., is a provider of biometric solutions, and micro-sensor identification systems which owns patent rights and intellectual property for MEMS based explosives detection technology licensed through a national government laboratory.
This diversity contributes to CAAH’s ability to deliver revenue.
I think each of these industries has a great future and I want to look at each one. Perhaps the toy industry from China has had the most attention recently. Our research staff recently found that the toy industry is experiencing a rebound.
Strict improvement measures were imposed after millions of Chinese products were pulled off shelves for health violations last year, industry representatives and government officials said yesterday.
Hong Kong Toys Council Chairman Lawrence Chan spoke at the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair, saying that testing and design procedures were tightened up to ensure the products were free from errors.
He also announced that sales to United States during the Christmas season increased by about three percent from a year earlier. So the toy industry continues to be a growth industry.
“We do not believe that a large-scale recall of products will happen again this year,” he said.
So, it looks like CAAH will continue to have a strong business in the toy industry. However, their security focus is incredibly timely. The FBI is working more closely than ever with business and CAAH’s ability to analyze not only fingerprints but biometrics and the Iris for identity is right on track with standard identification procedures being implemented by the FBI.
