Celebrity Support Makes Biodiesel Cool
Better Biodiesel: The Cool Place to Be!
BBDS.OB Better Biodiesel Stock Guru Profile
Better Biodiesel uses animal fat to make biodiesel with their unique patent pending process and biodiesel is HOT. Biodiesel will become more prominent in the public’s psyche as celebrities and politicians work to raise awareness of the detrimental impact fossil fuels have on our planet.
Dozens of artists will perform in concerts in eight cities around the world on July 7 in a bid to spur governments, corporations and the public to take action on global warming. Washington D.C. will be a host city for this Saturday’s worldwide series of Live Earth concerts; former Vice President Al Gore is a co-organizer of the show.
Other Live Earth concerts will be held in all seven continents and in Rio de Janeiro, London, Sydney, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hamburg, Germany, and East Rutherford, New Jersey. Life Earth will feature such artists as the Police, Madonna, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Celebrities are working to raise awareness of global warming and supporting biodiesel:
DARYL HANNAH — Hannah lives off the electricity grid in the Rocky Mountains, using solar energy and driving a car run on biodiesel made from recycled cooking oil.
WILLIE NELSON — Set up the Sustainable Biofuels Alliance, bringing together activists and scientists to give consumers better guidance on clean fuels. His truck stop sells his biodiesel fuel, Bio Willie, and his tour bus runs on biodiesel fuels.
SHERYL CROW — Crow toured U.S. colleges in a biodiesel-powered bus to university campuses with a final stop in Washington for Earth Day on April 22 raising awareness of global warming. Crow and Karl Rove, political strategist to President George W. Bush, clashed over global warming at a White House dinner just after her tour.
As biodiesel becomes a mainstream fuels alternative and a commodity the bottom-line will be cost. Better Biodiesel has the competitive edge by using lower priced animal fat and a waterless system.

About Better Biodiesel: Better Biodiesel has developed proprietary waterless technology that significantly reduces the costs of biodiesel production and environmental impact. A key environmental distinction in Better Biodiesel’s production method is the absence of any caustic chemicals in the catalytic reaction process, which eliminates the washing and evaporation steps necessary under customary biodiesel production processes. This proprietary technology speeds up the production timeline, increases the volume of fuel that can be made within a given time period, and reduces the amount of land needed for the production plant. Better Biodiesel’s initial pilot plant is producing approximately three million gallons per year and has a total footprint of less than 160 square feet. By contrast, several acres are required for a conventional biodiesel facility of the same production capacity. Initial Company estimates indicate that Better Biodiesel can expect to achieve a 20 percent reduction in the cost of producing biodiesel fuel, and a 40 percent reduction in the cost of building its biodiesel plants as compared with conventional production methods and facilities. Better Biodiesel’s objective is to become one of the world’s largest producers of biodiesel. (www.betterbiodiesel.com)
