The President of Apolo Gold & Energy Inc. is Peter Bojtos P.Eng. He filled Stock Guru in on some of the details and realities of mining for gold in Indonesia.
Apolo Gold’s Phase1 trench sampling results indicate a large area of good anomalous gold. Within the sampled trenches occur quartz breccia veins and stockwork that contain some high-grade gold values. The property and surrounding area contains numerous mineralized showings, over a relatively large area, which indicates that the epithermal system is large and therefore has the potential for hosting economic precious metal deposits.
The Independent Geologist/Professional Engineer visited the property between July 27 and August 1, 2002. He assembled 29 samples from the property and sent these to an independent laboratory for assay. There were 5 samples from 4 shafts and 24 samples from various trenches. The following is a summary of the results from these assays:

Silver 24 grams to 158 grams per tonne
More specifically, the following results from the 5 shaft samples tested are taken from 15 meters (50 feet) on average, below the surface.

The Independent geological report (September, 2002) has recommended a US$ 341,000 exploration and drill program consisting of 1,000 meters
(3200 feet) HQ size diamond drilling and also prospecting, geological mapping, and sampling to test the economic potential of this property.
At this time Seven (7) drill targets have been identified. Apolo Gold personnel will be on site in October to execute a drill contract and to prepare the drill sites.
An internationally recognized, highly qualified independent mining engineer will also be on site in October to provide assistance for Apolo Gold’s project and give recommendations for the drilling program and further geological exploration to enhance the Napal Gold-Silver project.
