History of Company
Amaru, Inc., was launched in 2000 as a Singapore based company (M2B World Pte Ltd.) to establish a state-of-the art infrastructure for broadband streaming on a global basis. The company then began syndication of content via broadband from Hollywood and secured its first deal with China’s CCTV. Amaru, Inc., then started distributing CCTV content outside of China. In 2004, the company took steps to become a U.S.-based corporation. It executed a reverse takeover of Amaru, Inc., and M2B World Pte Ltd. became its subsidiary. Since then, the company has expanded operations through agreements with media distribution channels worldwide, with offices in Hollywood, China and Australia.
