Leonidas Films, Inc., Formerly NuOasis Resorts, Inc., Announces Name Change

Acquires Assets of Silverscreen Acquisitions, Inc.

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 12, 2006–Leonidas Films, Inc. (Pinks Sheets:LFMI) confirmed today that it has changed its name from NuOasis Resorts, Inc. to Leonidas Films, Inc., effective from Jan. 26. It also announced the acquisition of the assets of Silverscreen Acquisitions, Inc., which becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Leonidas Films.

Combined, the management of Leonidas Films has more than 30 years’ experience in producing films, commercials and television, as well as cinematography. Leonidas Films’ mission is to create and distribute commercially compelling, quality movies and entertainment for audiences throughout the world with “A” list industry standards.

Timothy Cavanaugh, President, CEO and one of the founders of Leonidas Films, has been a significant participant at all levels of the television industry, and has over 17 years of experience in the entertainment industry. An accomplished actor, Cavanaugh is also recognized as a successful producer of independent films, commercials, and long-form as well as short-form videos. Cavanaugh produced the Discovery Channel series “Explore Our World,” and was the head of production at Creative Entertainment Group in Los Angeles. Cavanaugh has produced, budgeted, supervised and line produced numerous other productions.

Andrzej Sekula, Vice President, Secretary and another founder of Leonidas Films, is best known as the cinematographer of “Reservoir Dogs” and “Pulp Fiction.” The award-winning Sekula was born in Poland in 1954, and attended Britain’s prestigious National Film Television School, in Beaconsfield, England, from 1985-88. Sekula made his American-feature debut as cinematographer of “Reservoir Dogs” (1992). His skills were soon much in demand stateside as well as in the British film market on films such as “Three of Hearts,” “Oleanna,” “Four Rooms,” “Cousin Bette,” “American Psycho” and “Fait Accompli.” Sekula was presented the award for Special Achievement at the Camerimage International Film Festival, and he was nominated for Britain’s top film prize, the BAFTA Film award, as cinematographer of “Pulp Fiction.”
