Steadfast Holdings Group, through its subsidiary Stead-Fast Custom Linings, provides aftermarket products and services used specifically in the light truck market. The company was founded in 1999 by current CEO John Calash. Steadfast began as a company that provided state-of-the-art protective coatings using their spray-on polyurea to protect truck beds. This proprietary Polyurea product is still the company’s flagship product.
Steadfast’s products include Masterack and Crown North America Lines that customize light duty vans and trucks for commercial applications. The company’s spray-on Polyurea has also found other applications. It is can be used in agricultural, industrial, and military applications where the tough coating is used to protect everything from metals to concrete against chemicals, solvents, fuel, etc. CEO John Calash stated in a recent press release:”By finding additional markets for our flagship product, we believe that our revenues will grow accordingly.”
Steadfast Holdings also has license to sell other products which include: tool boxes, truck caps and lids, Tonno covers, running boards, lift kits, trailer hitches, grilles, visors, bug shields, and a whole lot more. Much of these sales occur in Steadfast’s 25 stores where business is booming. Sales in the 4th quarter of 2007 surged by 600% in comparison to the 4th quarter of 2006. They anticipate expanding their number of stores with a goal of opening 50 stores in 2008.
In January 2008, Steadfast Holdings announced it has entered into an expanded private label/distribution agreement with Tonneau Master. Tonneau Master is producing a private label product for Steadfast, which will in turn distribute the product through their stores. Steadfast is also currently building a relationship with Leggett & Platt for access to Ford, Chrysler, and GM dealerships across the US.
