Reed’s is now the number one sugar and fructose sweetened soda brand in the natural channel. The market research and consulting firm for the natural products industry found Reed’s Ginger Brew Extra to be the top selling sugar and fructose sweetened soda item in the United States natural products industry.
Virgil’s Root Beer, Reed’s Ginger Brew Premium and Reed’s Ginger Brew Original were also listed in the top spots. This is a significant accomplishment as 600 other sodas were rated.
Chief Executive Officer and President of Reed’s, Chris Reed, stated, “As more and more consumers become aware of what their food and beverages are really made from, they appreciate Reed’s authentic taste and natural ingredients and increasingly are recognizing Reed’s Ginger Brews and Virgil’s Root Beers as premier all-natural brewed soft drinks within the marketplace.”
The increasing demand for health-promoting beverages is demonstrated by the strong data put out by SPINS, and by Reed’s increasing sales.
