SouthPeak Interactive Corp. (SOPK.OB) CEO Selected as Finalist for Prestigious Award

Today, SouthPeak made the announcement that Melanie Mroz, who serves as the company’s CEO, has been selected as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for 2010.

In its 24th year, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards program recognizes leaders from over 135 cities and 50 countries throughout the world. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Mroz was selected for the second year in a row by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, June 19th of this year.
