SmartHeat, Inc. is an American company located in China, engaged in the manufacture of advanced plate heat exchange units for China’s heat energy saving industry. Heat plate exchangers are used to transfer heat from one medium to another, and SmartHeat utilizes them to capture and recycle heat energy waste from industry, thus reducing both fuel cost and pollution.
Today, SmartHeat announced that it has been awarded a series of supply contracts totaling $5 million from Fortune 500 heating systems corporation, Dalkia. As a result of past collaborations, SmartHeat components are pre-certified by Dalkia, and the company recognizes SmartHeat as a “Triple A” supplier. This exempts SmartHeat products from undergoing the same quality tests as those from other vendors.
SmartHeat CEO James Wang commented on the development: “With these significant contracts, SmartHeat further solidifies its position as a market leader in China’s plate heat exchange market which provides energy saving solutions to the vast Chinese municipalities and industrial customers. We are pleased with our continued services to Dalkia and we expect additional supply contracts from this recognized industry leader. Energy savings and more efficient heat utilization is the solution in today’s predominantly coal burning, pollution generating heating source environment in China. SmartHeat is dedicated to reducing energy waste and less pollution to the environment through effective utilization of our advanced heat energy savings technology.”
On an added note, SmartHeat has indicated that it expects to report record 3rd quarter financial results, to be announced before November 15th.
