Meadow Bay Gold is a mining and exploration company which has acquired Desert Hawk Gold. Desert Hawk Gold possesses three Nevada gold projects, including an option on a former producing Atlanta Gold and Silver Mine; the Colorback Gold Project; and the Spruce Mountain Molybdenum, Copper, Silver Project.
The advanced-stage Atlanta Gold and Silver exploration project has a historical resource of 338,000 ounces indicated and 126,000 ounces inferred gold. Gold bearing porphyry was also recently discovered at the site. The Colorback Gold Project is located on the Battle Mountain trend, 12 miles north of Pipeline, and hosts both surface gold targets and a lower-plate Carlin-Style gold system. Gold values as high as 1 ounce per ton have been found in previous surface sampling, and the near-surface intercepts in the upper plate chart are thought to be leakage from the deeper system.
The Spruce Mountain Molybdenum Porphyry Project is located 40 miles south of Wells, Nev. It is accessible year-round via gravel roads, and rail lines exist within 25 miles of the property. The primary target at Spruce Mountain is a large tonnage molybdenum porphyry deposit with potential gold, silver and rhenium byproducts.
