The company continues developing its coffee lines through the Marley Coffee brand under its exclusive licensing agreement with 56 Hope Road.
Based in the United States, Marley Coffee offers sustainably grown and ethically farmed products. The company was co-founded by Rohan Marley, son of the late famed reggae musician Bob Marley, and his friend Shane Whittle. Bob Marley always said that one day he would return to farming. Rohan remembers watching his grandmother dry wild coffee berries in the sun before brewing and roasting them for her own morning cup of coffee. Carrying on Bob Marley’s dream, the company’s aim is delivering that same homegrown quality with every cup.
Marley Coffee sources beans from across the globe, including from Ethiopia, Central America and Jamaica. The Jamaican beans come from a 52-acre private estate at the top of the Blue Mountains of Chepstowe, Portland, Jamaica, which has been long esteemed as the region possessing the world’s most desired coffee beans.
