Royal Standard Minerals is focused on exploring and developing gold and polymetallic properties in key mineral districts of Nevada. Three of the company’s properties – Goldwedge, Piñon-Railroad and Fondaway Canyon – are advanced with established resources. Goldwedge, its most developed asset, is moving to feasibility.
Goldwedge lies within one of Nevada’s most important gold districts. Royal Standard has encountered significant, high-grade gold at the property and excavated a decline for over 2000 feet into the primary mineral zones. Having already built a crushing and milling plant and secured necessary permitting, a bulk sampling program is currently underway.
Another key project of the company is Piñon-Darkstar, which is located on the southern portion of the renowned Carlin gold district of northeast Nevada. Royal Standard is evaluating the economical potential of several large, near-surface deposits with open-pit, heap leaching possibilities. There is also potential for a deeper, underground mine with high grade gold-silver deposits.
