Oromin Explorations is a well financed and expertly managed resource company focused on strategic growth and driving returns to its shareholders. Primary focal points for OLEPF’s operations are within Senegal, West Africa at the Sabodala gold concession and Argentina’s Santa Rosa Dome oil prospect.
The Company owns/operates a 43.5% share of the Oromin Joint Venture Group (OJVG), which holds a 100% interest in the 212 sq-km concession, with the remainder being held by two private companies, Bendon International and Badr Investment. Analysis by three different companies, including Oromin Explorations, indicates the presence of some 10M oz Au in the region, making the OJVG concession a real winner destined to generate substantial long-term revenue.
Numerous targets located within the concession combined with feasibility analysis projects an estimated 174k oz Au annual capacity via an open-pit/underground operation. The Company has devised a very clear strategy for development of precious minerals production in Africa and its Argentina oil prospect helps to solidify a strong resource portfolio.
