American Petro-Hunter is a domestic E&P currently in production at both of its two main sites in Kansas and Oklahoma. A strong land position in North and South Oklahoma, with most recent activity in the emerging Mississippi play, has placed AAPH at a 29 horizontal well envelope for the region.
Trending upwards of 155 BOE, AAPH has brought online a substantial network of oil and gas production sources in both states, with the most recent work in South Oklahoma targeting the Mississippi Limestone, showing excellent potential for additional horizontal well development and adjacent acreage acquisitions. The Company has secured a strong footing in the Mississippi play while demonstrating that growth through the drill bit is indeed a sound business strategy.
AAPH also has a 25% WI in an established gas play with some 42 BCF in potential recoverable reserves, near Sacramento, CA – in the heart of California’s gas country, the Central Valley. Continually moving forward with the acquisition of new sites and sitting on a vast portfolio of developmental potential, all secured by a current production base, places AAPH in a very select class for its size.
