The management team founded the first courier and mail delivery service in Latin America back in 1972, called SkyNet-Choice. Albert P. Hernandez, CEO of SkyPostal, has accumulated over 38 years of mail and messenger delivery experience. He was a pioneer in developing the private courier and mail delivery business in Latin America, opening his first operation in Venezuela in 1972. He worked with FedEx package distribution in the region during the 80’s, handling express mail shipments for several European posts, and hand-delivery of mail for Deutsche Post’s Global Mail in the 90’s.
Michael J. Knorr, president of SkyPostal, brings a wide range of experience to the company’s board. Having worked in the strategic planning, development and management of large-scale express transportation and mail operations for over 20 years, his well-rounded knowledge makes him a great asset to the company. He was previously the executive vice president at Swiss Post International (USA), Inc. in New York, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss PostAG. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Express Messenger Systems, Inc. (EMS), and TNT Express Worldwide, the world leader in global express, logistics and mail services.
